I am no longer a PhD student. It was a great learning experience but as the process unfolded I found that the project that I wanted to explore did not fit into the context. I will continue to visualise sound in other environments.

I have decided to dedicate the next three years to visualising sound and music. The PhD program is founded partly by Aalborg University, The Design School in Kolding and LARM, a national sound archive digitising project. Starting this September.

Last month I was hired by Yoke Interaction Design to consult on their Dandelion project for exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum and I am very pleased to see how it turned out.

The The Digital Archive Experience was published today. It includes a text I wrote about the process of creating Metasyn and a range of other texts that deal with the issues of creating and representing digital archives at art museums.

Metasyn is active at The Museum of Contempoary Art in Roskilde, until the 21st of December. In short, the project is about mapping, visualizing and interfacing the museums art collection to give the audience an overview of the collection as a whole.

I now hold a MA in Interactive Media Design. The graduation project Metasyn will be exhibited at The Museum of Contempoary Art in Roskilde, October 3rd.

May 10th I activate my brand new generative drum machine at SPOR08, a 24hour festival Århus. The system, called Nerve, have been under development since September 2007. It is an event generator based on 3D objects colliding in a spring simulation.
